About Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
TCM Acupuncture can be used for pain relief, stress, anxiety and chronic disease using an integrated body-mind approach. You can heal your body and mind and renew your life with a combination of acupuncture, herbal formulas, as well as nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Mind and Body Healing
Ute believes that true healing is always the result of a good partnership between patient and practitioner. The practitioner’s role is helping the patient find their unique way of healing. Whether disease is expressed more in physical or emotional symptoms, according to TCM, healing always needs an integrated approach including all four dimensions of the being: mind, body, emotions and spirit. In order to take care for all those dimensions, Ute uses a variety of different acupuncture styles, such as Dr. Tan balance acupuncture, Master Tung points, ear acupuncture, scalp acupuncture and belly acupuncture as well as special treatments for trauma and balancing emotional issues.
Treat the cause, not the symptom
Ute treats pain related to acute soft tissue injuries as well as chronic MSK pain but also the underlying cause of diseases. Internal causes such as digestive system, immune system, cardiovascular system issues and hormonal imbalances can contribute to the pain. Stress, sleep and psychological issues often contribute to pain or can be even causative factors. TCM also has a high success rate treating such psychological issues as well as anxiety and depression and improving memory and focus. In a comprehensive treatment balancing nutritional and lifestyle factors will support the acupuncture treatments.
