Ladan Mohammadi (R.Ac, PhD.) is a registered acupuncturist who graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver where she completed the Acupuncturist program and graduated at the top of her class.
Ladan moved to Burnaby about 10 years ago before which she was completing her PhD at the University of British Columbia. Since then, Ladan has been on a journey towards understanding and examining various paths for health and well-being. Understanding how to rejuvenate and revitalize the body so it can function optimally has been an ongoing pursuit for Ladan.
Ladan believes that despite natural processes of aging, genetic disposition, as well as various social and environmental stressors, our body and mind possess an innate potential to heal. Acupuncture can help stimulate this healing potential.
Acupuncture has effectively been used for acute and chronic pain such as in the treatment of:
Backpain, Shoulder pain (e.g. frozen shoulder), Knee pain, Sciatica, Carpal Tunnel, Headache, Migraine, and Sports Injuries
Acupuncture can also help with:
Menstrual issues and Infertility
Cold/Influenza, and much more
Ladan is excited to make acupuncture painless and accessible to Burnaby families. As an acupuncturist, Ladan has a passion for educating her patients about the philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine in a clear and concise manner to allow her patients comfort, confidence, and involvement in their treatment and healing. Ladan helps her patients by providing individualized effective treatments which can include acupuncture, cupping, and lifestyle/dietary advice based on classical Chinese Medical texts.
